内容简介

　　《中国民族器乐(英文版)》收录袁静芳老师民族器乐研究成果，并且将其学术成果翻译成英文，以便中外学者的学术交流。袁静芳老师一生致力于中国传统音乐研究，这本书的出版可以让这些研究成果走出去，让世界了解中国传统音乐。

作者简介

　　袁静芳，1936年生，湖南岳阳人。1961年毕业于中央音乐学院。现任中央音乐学院现代远程音乐教育学院院长、佛教音乐文化研究中心主任。兼任北京市学位委员会学科评议组成员、中国音乐家协会民族音乐委员会副主任、中国传统音乐学会副会长、《中国民族民间器乐曲集成》副主编等职。教授、博士生导师。代表论*有《民族器乐》、《中国佛教京音乐研究》、《河北巨鹿道教法事音乐》、《乐种学》、《中国传统音乐概论》、《中国汉传佛教音乐文化》、《中国传统器乐》等主要学术论文与文章一百余篇。1992年获中华人民共和国国务院颁发的“为文化艺术事业做出突出贡献的政府特殊津贴证书”，1999年获英国剑桥国际传记中心授予的“20世纪成就奖"、“千年国际妇女”、“20世纪国际名人”、“1999-2000年度国际妇女奖"。其个人传记被“英国剑桥国际传记中心"编入《国际名人传记音乐卷》、《2O世纪两千名国际知名知识分子》、《国际名人传记亚洲太平洋卷》、《20世纪名人》、《名人传记》典籍之中。
