內容簡介

　　《理工專業通用學術英語（應用篇）》進入以學術論文為核心的學術語類教學。第1一4單元側重立項申請報告、技術報告、學術論文和文獻綜述四種主要學術語類的宏觀特徵教學，便於學生瞭解這些語類的共性與差異、語篇布局的嚴密性以及語篇各組成部分在整體結構中的作用。第5—9單元分彆是對研究論文各組成部分的閱讀與寫作方法的強化教學。閱讀和聽力教學材料題材豐富多樣，但語篇體裁和語體特徵集中。
　　教學活動從細讀典型文本人手，圍繞學術研究中提齣問題、分析問題、解決問題的過程展開，激發學生提齣創造性研究問題，使語言能力和思維能力同時得到訓練和發展。
