作者簡介

Hans Augusto Rey was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1898. As a child, he spent much of his free time in that city's famous Hagenbeck Zoo drawing animals. After serving in the army during World War I, he studied philology and natural science at the University of Hamburg. He then married Margret Rey and they moved to Montmartre for four years. The manuscript for the first Curious George books was one of the few items the Reys carried with them on their bicycles when they escaped from Paris in 1940. Eventually, they made their way to the United States, and Curious George was published in 1941. Curious George has been published in many languages, including French, German, Japanese, Afrikaans, and Norwegian.

寶寶兩歲瞭。原版書買瞭不少瞭。看到這套就知道他一定喜歡。果然一見到這些書就馬上讓我給讀瞭三四本。有兩本還讀瞭三四遍。不錯。每頁字數略多，但寶寶可以接受。主要是內容情節比較吸引他。

這套書,蒲蒲蘭訂過精裝繪本,當時不知道兒子為什麼那麼喜歡,6月1日 150減30的時候,試著訂瞭10本迴來,不過至今隻收到瞭6本,和孩子一起親子閱讀後,發現我也喜歡這隻可愛的好氣猴瞭,這不,用瞭部分券,又訂瞭幾本,真的非常值得看.

適閤親子閱讀。其實我感覺孩子們在不識字的時候，看英文和中文的圖書都是一樣的，隻是中西方的錶達方式和教育方嚮有一些不同，多多閱讀國外的經典故事更能讓孩子們全麵成長。

。《好奇的喬治》係列是H•A•雷和瑪格麗特•雷夫婦長期閤作的結晶。1906年，H•A•雷齣生在德國漢堡，在一個動物園旁邊長大，他常去動物園畫速寫。從此他對動物的熱愛持續瞭一生。漢斯曾學習哲學、自然科學，會講多種語言，唯獨沒有正式學習藝術。但他走到哪裏都習慣用速寫記錄生活。瑪格麗特比H•A•雷小8歲，也齣生在漢堡。她從小就有當藝術傢的夢想，曾進入學校學習美術和攝影。1935年8月，兩個熱愛藝術的年青人結婚瞭。兩人都很熱愛動物，一起養瞭兩隻小猴子做寵物。1936年，雷夫婦去歐洲旅行，兩隻小猴子也帶上。經過寒冷的英國時，瑪格麗特還親手給猴子們織毛衣。在巴黎，他們受到編輯的鼓勵，開始嘗試為孩子們創作繪本。主要是夫人瑪格麗特撰寫故事，先生H•A•雷負責插畫，但事實上每一個細節都是兩人的共同創造。據瑪格麗特迴憶說，他們的生活就是圍繞這隻猴子的推敲、爭論和一遍又一遍的修改原稿。在H•A•雷去世前，夫婦二人總共創作瞭七本關於喬治的繪本，在H•A•雷去世後，瑪格麗特又續寫瞭幾本，直到1996年她辭世。雷夫婦知識淵博，涉獵廣泛，除瞭喬治係列，他們還發錶瞭很多彆的作品。像瑪格麗特曾齣過一本關於吃昆蟲的植物的書，而H•A•雷早年齣的《新方法看星空》，則影響瞭一代又一代的天文愛好者。他們寫得最多的，還是和動物有關的書。喬治是一個生活在非洲的、對什麼都很好奇的小猴子。一天一個頭戴黃帽子的叔叔發現瞭喬治，他非常喜歡喬治，想把他帶迴去，這時黃帽子叔叔想到瞭一個好辦法…

價格不算貴吧，還可以。國外書比這還貴。除瞭這本，一共買瞭好幾本，小孩子都很喜歡讀。我們是白天她自己看，晚上睡覺前給她講，效果很好。
