作者簡介

弗蘭剋·達拉邦特（Frank Darabont），匈牙利難民的後代。1959年生於法國，其後隨傢人移居芝加哥，是當代有名的電影編劇、導演和監製，曾三次獲奧斯卡金像奬提名。其電影生涯始於1980年的影片《地獄之夜》中的製片助理一職，此後，達拉邦特一直擔任布景師，直至1986年，方始成為編劇，並在1989年成功晉級導演。其代錶作是1994年的《肖申剋的救贖》和1999年的《綠裏奇跡》。這兩部作品都改編自史蒂芬·金的小說，都由達拉邦特自編自導，達拉邦特也因為這兩部電影，兩次獲奧斯卡改編劇本奬提名。

Frank Darabont, a three-time Oscar nominee, is one of only six filmmakers in history whose first two feature films have received nominations for the Best Picture Academy Award: 1994’sThe Shawshank Redemption was nominated for 7 Oscars, and 1999’sThe Green Mile was nominated for 4 Oscars. His most recent feature as director wasThe Majestic(2001). Currently, Darabont is executive producing the thrillerCollateral, starringTom Cruise. His next film as director will be an adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s science fiction classicFahrenheit 451.
