This chapter devotes to building a security infrastructure for the quantum private munication. To reach this aim， some fundamental subjects including quantum mechanics， quantum informatiotheory and quantum plexity theory are introduced. Of these fundamental subjects， the quantum mechanics is the cornerstone. With these fundamental subjects， a security theory for the quantum private municatiois built.
Iprevious chapter， aoverview of the quantum private municatiohas beepresented and a quantum private municatiomodel has beeconstructed. This chapter investigates the security theory for the quantum private munication. For convenience， this kind of security theory is called a quantum security theory ithis book. As usual， both the informatiotheoretic security and putational security which is very useful ipractical applications are contained ithe quantum security theory. Different from the scenarios ithe classic private munication， however， the information- theoretic security and putational security are here based othe quantum informatiotheory and quantum plexity theory， respectively. To construct the quantum security theory， three aspects are involved including the informatiotheory， plexity theory， and security model. The informatiotheory contains both the Shannoinformatiotheory and quantum informatiotheory. The plexity theory is associated with the classic plexity and quantum plexity theory which is based othe quantum Turing machine （TM）. And the security model is a general descriptiofor the quantum security theory based othe informatiotheory and plexity theory. Before describing idetail the quantum security theory， some fundamentals including the mathematical backgrounds and quantum mechanics are described. They are actually the cornerstones of the quantum security theory.
