评分##（原版看完打卡，这种青春成长小说可能已经不适合我这种大龄人士了，中途无数次想弃。）反邪教反原生家庭檄文，美国助学金计划宣传小说。讲了一个原生家庭极度恶劣的小孩，如何面对神棍偏执狂爸爸，家暴哥哥，被洗脑的妈妈，懦弱的妯娌，不断觉醒，不断怀疑自己，不断被拖回去，不断挣扎抗争的故事。而这一切的改变都源于美国轻松就能申请的助学金计划。然后女主就一路开挂：中学都没读过但短暂努力一下就考上了大学，剑桥只有一个推荐名额教授就给了她，论文随便一写就是几十年来最佳，盖茨奖学金哈佛博士都轻而易举，唱歌从小就擅长，性格孤僻但男友和朋友都爱她。我看完没有获得什么力量，也很难共情，只觉得能那么事无巨细的记录父母兄弟和自己的黑历史，是个狼人。整本写作风格都非常电影化，翻拍指日可待，不过我肯定不会去看。

评分##They are more complicated than the roles they are assigned in stories. What she has undergone and achieved is such encouraging and uplifting. I identified with Tara Westover for the most part.
