而眼前這隊人，馬蹄都用布裹瞭不說，居然所有護鏢的人都騎著關外名駒——享有“韆裏絕群”美譽的“烏雲馬”。馬隊的中間護著八輛灰布馬車，每輛皆以四匹高頭大馬拉著。馬車粗看毫不起眼，但整輛車最要緊的車軲轆用的卻都是最結實的鐵樺木，且做工精湛。鐵樺木比平常木頭硬三倍，比普通鋼都硬一倍，做齣來的車軲轆自然也異常結實。隻是此種木頭隻有南朝跟赤焰的邊境纔有，且數量十分稀少。
