　　《2012廣州統計年鑒》是一本全麵反映廣州經濟和社會發展的資料性年刊。本書通過大量的統計數據，全麵客觀地記錄瞭2010年及曆史重要年份，特彆是改革開放以來廣州市經濟、社會的發展情況。
　　廣州市統計局和國傢統計局廣州調查隊編著的《2012廣州統計年鑒》全書內容分為17個篇目，即：1.綜閤；2.人口；3.從業人員和職工工資；4.固定資産投資；5.能源生産和消費；6.財政、險；7.物價指數；8.人民生活；9.城市建設；10.農業；11.工業；12.建築業；13.運輸和郵電；14.國內貿易；15.對外經旅遊；16.科技；17.教育、文化、體育、衛生、社會福利和其他。在附錄部分，收集瞭全國、廣東省及香港特彆行政區、行政區主要經濟指標。
　　本年鑒大部分統計數據來自政府各級統計局、國傢統計局廣州調查隊的各種定期統計報錶和抽樣調查資料，部分資料來自屬各主管部門。
　　四、本年鑒中全市包括市區和從化、增城兩個縣級市。市區包括荔灣區、越秀區、海珠區、天河區、白雲區、黃埔區、番禹恒、南沙區和蘿崗區等10個區。
