Jane Yolen is famous for her fantasy stories. John Schoenherr is famous for his science fiction illustrations. Yolen and Schoenherr have collaborated on this marvelous book. It is not, strictly speaking, either fantasy or science fiction. But it is a wonderful story, beautifully illustrated.
