评分##[English version] This book did not change my view of Trump, but it did change my view of the people around him: Tillerson, Mattis, Coats, even Graham. “Democracy has held, but leadership has failed.” I share the weariness of Woodward, especially when listening to Trump going in circles in their interviews. Good riddance.

评分##想来这本是继《Fear》之后伍德沃德的第二本关于大统领的书了，读完的时候正好大选也尘埃落定。用伍德沃德结尾时的话来说：“全面考量他作为一个总统的表现，我只能达到一个结论，他不适任这个职位。”
评分##前半部分更精彩，最喜欢金三胖那段，后半部分感觉除了downplay covid那件事情没挖出什么料，也许是写得过于匆忙？而且作者到后半部分经常直抒胸臆，直接批评川普，也许也是出离愤怒，说好的nonfiction呢？
