更為特彆的是，地圖分彆繪製瞭六大洲（南極洲省略），另外將這些大陸上的國傢是用透明的醋酸紙印刷，然後分彆覆蓋在幾大洲的版圖上，這樣做的好處是，你想看幾大洲的地形圖，隻要翻開上麵的透明紙就可以瞭，而當你想看國傢的分布情況時，隻需將透明紙閤上。除瞭地形圖之外，此書還在每一大洲中選擇瞭幾個國傢進行簡單地介紹，內容涉及到人文文化與自然文化。不僅如此，此書還從每一洲中選齣一個頗有特色的地區用對開的兩頁紙畫齣瞭更為詳細的地圖，地圖的繪製采用瞭一種看起來比較立體的畫法，雖然地圖上並沒有標明比例關係，但遠近高低一目瞭然。用此書作為孩子學習世界地理的啓濛書，應該是個不錯的選擇。我孩子閱讀這本書，有點不太閤適，年齡大瞭點，這本書更適閤5~8歲月的孩子閱讀。
