內容簡介

本書根據作者在普通生物學雙語教學實踐與科研中查閱、撰寫生物學專業英語文章的經驗體會編寫而成，包括生物學專業知識與技術、科技英語翻譯技巧和專業科技論文寫作技巧三篇。第一篇涵蓋生物學概論、植物學、動物學、微生物學、遺傳學、細胞生物學、細胞工程與剋隆、發酵工程、生物化學、酶工程、分子生物學、基因工程和轉基因食品、基因組學、生物信息學、係統生物學和生態學方麵的內容，分為16個單元。每個單元後附英漢對照詞語和練習題，每隔兩個單元有一次口語錶達活動。第二篇包括科技英語行文常規、習慣錶達法、翻譯原則和實例。第三篇包括科技論文的定義、類型、特點、基本格式和寫作步驟與技巧。附錄有習題答案、每個單元選段的英譯漢範例等內容。本書基於**生物學研究成果、文獻資料和教學實踐編寫而成，其具有科學性、可操作性、示範性、實用性、綜閤性、廣泛性、生物學基礎知識和新技術的統一性及可讀性等特點。本書突齣瞭科技英語的寫作特點，注重中英文翻譯技巧與應用，加強瞭口語錶達技巧訓練。
